Oshkosh Corporation's (NYSE: OSK)Defense division has been awarded two delivery order for the installation of armor kits on 300 vehicles and to manufacture over 90 Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacements (MTVR) for the United States Marine Corps. The contract, valued at $31.5 million, was awarded to Oshkosh by the Marine Corps Systems Command.

Oshkosh Defense will supply the Marine Corps with mainly the cargo variant of the vehicle and several tractors, wreckers and dump variants of the MTVR. Production at the company's facilities is expected to close by September, 2010. The MTVR armor kits installation will be finished at two of the company's regional service centers.
