Ivo Josipovic, the candidate of the opposition Social Democrats has won the second an final round of Croatia’s presidential elections.
He will be replacing the popular Stipe Mesic, who had served the two-term legal maximum.
The Croatian Electoral Commission reported that he received about 60 percent of Sunday’s vote, more than predicted.
