Sarah Palin, former Republican vice presidential candidate and governor of Alaska is taking on a new role, as a commentator for Fox News.
In a statement posted on the channel’s website Palin wrote, "I am thrilled to be joining the great talent and management team at Fox News. It's wonderful to be part of a place that so values fair and balanced news."
The network has hired Palin to offer political commentary and analysis in addition to hosting episodes the show “Real American Stories”.
The addition of Palin to the Fox new team is sure to entice even greater Republican viewership. Fox is publicly considered to be a highly conservative news outlet and often features aggressive and disapproving commentary regarding initiatives from the democratic party.
Palin has television experience dating back to the 80’s when she worked as a part-time sportscaster for an Anchorage TV station.
