The dates for Harrah’s MBA Poker Championship have been announced. This year it will be held during January 15-17, in Caesar's Palace, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.  The championship reaches its fifth year now.

Last year 600 brilliant MBA students from prestigious US universities like Kellogg, Duke, Harvard, UCLA, Stanford GSB, Penn the Wharton Business School, and University of Chicago School Booth participated in this Las Vegas event. The overwhelming response in the last events has prompted Harrah’s to open the championship to more people, either as participants or spectators. You can opt for spectator package where you can watch the events and can be a part of the reception on January 15. Free food, beverages and entertainment will also be provided to the spectators. As a player you can opt for Gold, Platinum, or Diamond offers.

The championship will focus on pleasure, business, and charity. Brad Warga, the vice-president of recruitment of Harrah's, the championship will be a stepping stone for the future players who wish to take gambling as a serious career option. According to Warga this championship is also a networking option for their MBA students and Harrah's recruitment team. MBA students are always appreciated for their quick decision making abilities.

The tournament would provide financial assistance to the students along with providing them some options for brain hacking. A part of the prize money will be donated to the Alzheimer Association and to the Cleveland-based Private clinic.

In last four chapters of the championship almost $33,000 was collected and the sum was donated to the Alzheimer Association. It surely shows how the Harrah’s future MBA grads would take up charitable causes seriously. 2010 MBA Poker Championships will have three demonstrations. The first one will have Hold' Em with $65 buy-in Limit. The second one is of No-Limit tournament of $225. And, the final Main Event of the championship will be the $150.
