In a $240 million pitch to keep Asia’s biggest carrier in the Oneworld group, British Airways Plc offered Japan Airlines Corp. access to 32 cities and the creation of a join business for Tokyo-London flight by 2011.

Currently, British Airways operates 10 codeshare flights with JAL and has offered to add 22 more European destinations within two years.
