California Pizza Kitchen, Inc. (NASDAQ:CPKI) has released the preliminary earnings for its 2009 fourth quarter earnings reporting a revenue increase of 3.8%. The revenues for the period ended January 3, 2010, were reported as $167.8 million compared to the 2008 fourth quarter earnings of $161.7 million. The company’s full service restaurant sales were reported to have decreased by 5.8% versus a 7.2% decrease of the previous year during the same period.
