Obama says "Relentless Focus" Will Help Employment

Financial World News Update by Equities Magazine

For months there have been claims that the economy is on the mend though it is regularly followed by mixed reports. Today is no different, President Obama announced that the U.S. economy is on the up and up and that he and then administration will focus on job generation in the coming months.

President Obama announced his new initiative Thursday in a speech to House Democrats. He defended the nature of the economic measures, admitting that they have been unpopular, but also the role they had in helping the nation recover. Earlier in the week, he discussed a plan to create 17,000 “green jobs” with $2.3 billion designated for the task.

He stressed points that are already well known, including that Americans have become irate and anxious with the situation. He believes “relentless focus" in the coming months will help alleviate the frustration.
