‘The View’ Co-Host Announces Pregnancy on Show

Elisabeth Hasselbeck, one of four co-hosts on the ABC talk show ‘The View,’ announced she was pregnant with her second child today. The announcement came after Rosie O’Donnell asked if there was anything new in her life, too which Hasselbeck replied "Um, just a couple of things, like, I'm totally three months pregnant.”

Hasselbeck, who is married to New York Giants quarterback Tim Hasselbeck, will be taking a leave of absence from the show starting in June.

With ‘The View’ already dealing with the permanent departure of Rosie O’Donnell after one season, the absence of Hasselbeck will leave just Barbra Walters and Joy Behar. Hasselbeck told her co-hosts and audience that the baby is due in November.
