Estee Lauder Cos. (NYSE: EL) announced that it expanded its board to 14 members, adding former Dow Jones & Co. CEO Richard F. Zannino, according to Associated Press.
The company, which provides skin care, makeup, fragrance and hair care products, said late Thursday that Zannino will also serve on the audit committee.

Zannino, 51, is a managing director at private equity firm CCMP Capital Advisors LLC. He served as CEO of Dow Jones & Co. from February 2006 until January 2008 when he resigned shortly after the media company was acquired by News Corp. (NASDAQ: NWSA).
