Google Cuts Price of Nexxus One

 Google Inc. is cutting back the price of their new smart phone, the Nexus One phone for existing T-Mobile subscribers. The phone went on the market at $379 for an up-grade with a pre-existing data plan. Friday, Google lowered the price to $279, the same price as it would cost without a data plan.

Anyone who has already purchased the Nexxus One at full price is eligible for a refund.

Individuals signing up for a two –year T-mobile contract when they purchase their phone are expected to pay $179. Those with non T-mobile carriers must pay $529 for the phone.
