Misty Richards, the American Medical Women’s Association Student President, attended a White House Holiday Open House Tour on Friday, December 18th, 2009 at 3:30PM. She arrived at the Southeast Gate at Alexander Hamilton Place and East Executive Avenue, right off of 15th Street and E Street, NW. The White House tour was self-guided. However, United States Secret Service officers were posted in every room to provide historical information about the room and the White House.
Ms. Richards is a medical student at Albany Medical College and is also on the Board of Directors for the Engeye Health Clinic in Uganda. She is also a Fulbright Scholar who spent a year doing research in Japan from 2008-2009.
