Fresnius Medical Care Canada (FMCC) has announced that it has completed the acquisition of the sole Canadian development and distribution rights to Cybernius Medical LTD’s NephroCare® software. NephroCare® is a renal information system enabling care givers the ability to electronically manage and report patient data. The software integrates with other hospital and clinical systems while providing links to satellite unites making it easy to access the patient’s bedside and enabling point of care charting in the electronic patient record. FMCC has already been distributing the software to hospitals in Canada for over ten years. The acquisition will allow the company to enhance the software levels of support and development.
