Photizo Foundation Hosts 2014 VIP Charity Dinner in Louisville KY’s Galt House

Photizo Foundation, a nonprofit organization started by executive director Edward Crowley, is hosting the fourth annual Imaging Industry VIP Charity Dinner at the Galt House in Louisville, KY, on June 4th at 7:00 pm. Proceeds from the event benefit four powerful organizations that affect people both locally and globally: the American Cancer Society, Eastern Congo Initiative, Casas por Cristo, and Hope Hill. Last year, the event raised more than $4,600 for the charities, contributing to a $25,000 total contribution to date.  Through expanding the dinner to include the general public, Photizo Group hopes to raise a record high donation this year.

The event is co-sponsored by Office Document Consulting.  Mike Lamothe, president of Office Document Consulting has played a key role in past events, including the generous donation of a beautiful framed canvas photograph for the live auction.  The item brought in $1,000 for the charities.  This year, Lamothe and Office Document Consulting, as well as other organizations will include the addition of more items for both the silent and live auctions, which will be held during the event.

The dinner is being hosted in the Waterford Room on the 25th floor of the Galt House.  With a riverside location, the Waterford Room provides breathtaking views of the city and natural landscape.  Included in the night will be a dinner, live auction, and featured speakers from both the Hope Hill, and American Cancer Society charities.  Select auction items can be viewed here and are available for pre-bidding.  To purchase tickets, please contact Photizo Group at info@photizogroup.com, or visit the 2014 VIP Charity Dinner website.

Other than being a tremendous networking opportunity and fun evening, the VIP Charity Dinner is a great event to touch the lives of those in need across the world.  As Ed Crowley said of last year’s event, “We are gratified and humbled by the strong show of support for this event.  The funds raised for these worthy charities will help make a real difference in real people’s lives.”

About Photizo Foundation, Inc.
Photizo Foundation, Inc. was founded to serve those in need by providing them with housing, education, and health care.  Edward Crowley developed the idea for the organization through his role as CEO of Photizo Group, a premier market research and consulting firm. From 2010 to 2013, Photizo Group raised more than $20,000, which was used to support organizations such as Casas por Cristo, Excellent Development, and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  However, Crowley felt that there was an opportunity to do more, to raise the stakes and have a bigger impact through an independent foundation, and therefore created the Photizo Foundation. The foundation is a volunteer-led and operated organization, funds raised go directly to charities we support. Its goal is to keep administrative costs at less than 2 percent of all funds raised.
