Busta Rhymes Busted, Rapper Arrested For DUI
Police arrested Busta Rhymes in Manhattan early Thursday morning after the rapper was determined to be intoxicated while driving his 2006 GMC Yukon Denali.
Police initially pulled the 34-year-old over because the tinting on his windshield was too dark. The officer who approached the vehicle detected alcohol on Rhymes and the rapper struggled to hand the officer the requested paperwork.
Busta, whose real name is Trevor Smith, then failed a field sobriety test and he was taken to the 28th Precinct.
Arraignment is set for later in the day Thursday.
