KnowWare International has added Post Hoc testing to its QI Macros ™ SPC Software for Excel. QI Macros works with Excel to draw Lean Six Sigma charts and graphs.
Post Hoc testing was added to the ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) Single Factor Test in QI Macros Statistical Tools. The easy-to-run test gives the user LSD, HSD, and Scheffe results and determines which differences in means are significance.
For instance, the LSD (Least Significant Difference) technique, developed by Fisher, provides the minimum difference between a pair of means necessary for statistical significance. The HSD approach was developed by Tukey and was designed for a situation with equal sample sizes per group. Scheffe’s procedure provides the most popular, the most flexible, and the most conservative results. All three results are shown on the Single Factor Test Sheet after the test is run against the user’s data.
The QI Macros SPC Software contains 40+ charts and more than 90+ fill-in-the-blank templates that simplify Lean Six Sigma complexities. QI Macros SPC Software for Excel works with Excel versions 2000-2013. At only $229 (thousands less than competitors), they are the least expensive, most robust solution available on the market.
