QI Macros™ Adds New Statistical Test

KnowWare International has added Equivalence Testing to its QI Macros ™ SPC Software for Excel. QI Macros works with Excel to draw Lean Six Sigma charts and graphs.

The Equivalence Test was added to the Statistical Tools feature of QI Macros. Equivalence testing determines an interval where the means can be considered equivalent. While measurements at different times or using different formulations can vary, it’s often useful to determine if the two measurements produce equivalent results. Traditional hypothesis testing seeks to determine if means are the same or different, but it can have false positives.

The QI Macros SPC Software contains 40+ charts and more than 90+ fill-in-the-blank templates that simplify Lean Six Sigma complexities.
