Five U.S. Citizens were arrested by Mexican authorities after they attempted to carry two men across the Mexican border into the United States.

The five men had entered Mexico and grabbed two Mexican citizens who wee believed to be wanted in the U.S. After forcing the two men into the back of a pickup at gunpoint, the five men attempted to carry their captives across the border but the two men managed to jump from the vehicle.

When the occupants of the pickup returned to search for the men they were arrested by Mexican authorities for kidnapping. A judge will determine later this week if the five will be charged with unlawful deprivation of freedom.

A similar case involved Duane “Dog” Chapman after the reality star of “Dog the Bounty Hunter” was arrested by U.S. authorities last September on a Mexican warrant for his capture of Andrew Luster in Mexico.
