Carlos Boozer scored 22 points and grabbed 9 rebounds while Mehmet Okur added 19 points and 9 boards as the Utah Jazz beat the Houston Rockets 94-82 to even their Western Conference playoff series 3-3.
Utah headed into the fourth quarter with a six point advantage but the Rockets stayed close and were able to climb to within one on a pair of free-throws from Tracy McGrady with 4:45 remaining in the game.
Determined not to lose on their home court, the Jazz answered with an 11-2 run that deflated the Rockets hopes of ending the series in Utah.
Yao Ming and Tracy McGrady accounted for 51 of the Rockets 82 points with Ming scoring 25 and McGrady adding 26. Houston struggled to find their range from deep as they hit just 6-21 from beyond the three-point arc.
Both teams will meet again in Houston on Saturday for game seven of their best of seven series.
