While prosecutors are seeking 45 days in jail and an order to refrain from alcohol for 90 days, Paris Hilton could be facing up to 90 days in jail and a $1,000 fine for violating the terms of her probation.
Hilton was arrested last September after being pulled over for reckless driving. At the time of her arrest and the 26-year-old celebutante failed a sobriety test. At the time Hilton told police that she had had one drink on an empty stomach after working all day. She pleaded no contest to the charges and was sentenced to three years probation, ordered to attend an alcohol education program and pay $1,500 in fines.
Four months after her arrest she was pulled over once again and was informed that she had been driving on a suspended license. Hilton was ordered to a sign a document recognizing that she was not legally allowed to drive.
It didn’t take Hilton long to get nabbed again as officers pulled her over for speeding down Sunset Boulevard without her lights on. She was charged with violating her probation.
