Jail Fight Involving Rival Gangs Leaves at least 23 Inmates Dead

A fight inside a Mexican jail involving rival drug gangs has left at least 23 inmates dead and several more injured.

While a prison spokeswoman for the Durango jail has not confirmed the cause of the fight incidents involving drug gangs is common in Mexican prisons.

According to reports Wednesday’s deadly brawl was ended by prison guards who were able to establish order.
