The company's agreement with Salaberry-de-Valleyfield to build, install and operate the gasifier using municipal waste which is currently being sent to a landfill. The goal of the project is for the reduction of landfill waste by a minimum of 50%, with the additional benefit of converting the waste into useful energy in the form of biodiesel.
