Coinstar (NASDAQ: CSTR) Names Former Lenovo Exec as CFO

Coinstar Inc. (NASDAQ: CSTR) announced Wednesday that the company has named J. Scott Di Valerio as its new chief financial officer March 2, according to Associated Press.

 

Di Valerio, 47, joined the company Tuesday and will assume full CFO responsibilities after a transition period. He previously ran the Americas division for technology company Lenovo Group, and is a former accounting chief at Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ: MSFT).

Coinstar has not had a full-time CFO since John Harvey resigned Nov. 9. The company announced in October that Harvey was leaving to spend more time with his family.

 

Coinstar shares rose 19 cents to $27.03 at Friday’s close.
