Detroit businesses get rare glimpse into the mind of an online marketing maniac. Ted Cantu storms the halls of WCCC, (Wayne County Community College) for another unexpected visit filled with SEO, (search engine optimization tips, strategies and techniques) on February 4, 2010. This marks the third visit Cantu has made in recent weeks.
The series is to open the horizons of Detroiters view on the web. Cantu is the author of two books including the, “30 Day Total Business Makeover” and is a crackerjack copywriter. He will be spinning his magic on the screen and showing students of money making how to write killer headlines, dazzling sales copy and how to capture the attention of your readers and commit them to buy from you. This promises to be powerful material from ex-Art Director, Ted Cantu.
“The idea to do the series was a no brainer. So many things have fallen apart in Detroit including problems with the Auto Industry and the collapse of media giant, Ann Arbor News. I want to show business owners that they can run their businesses without the help of newspaper advertising or Yellow Page advertisements and still gain a following!” adds Cantu.
Ted Cantu is the creator of pop culture web sensation, Hot Metro Finds and has promoting 50 industries. He explains the secret of his success, “Search engine marketing is not super complicated but it is a discipline. A lot of business owners are Internet Illiterate. We cannot tolerate online illiteracy in Metro Detroit – We need to stay tuned up and focused so we can compete in this tech wave and make our economy thrive. I will invite questions from the media during my presentation. I encourage WDIV, WJR, Crains Detroit and members from Automation Alley to be present and ask questions. I feel this strongly about it. People who care need to be present.” Adds Cantu.
You can see Ted Cantu speak on February 4th, 2010 in Detroit at WCCC, the doors open at 5:30 pm and there will be time to connect and meet with him at this time. The location is at Wayne County Community College, Eastern Campus, located at 801 W. Fort Street, Detroit, MI 48226.
