2010 Australian Open Round 2 Results: Serena Williams Trounces Petra Kvitova, Moves into Third Round in Melbourne

Serena Williams enjoyed one of the most dominant matches of the second round at the Australian Open, taking apart Petra Kvitova in straight sets 6-2, 6-1 to advance to the third round and stay on track for her fifth title in Melbourne.

Serena was simply unstoppable with her serve as she finished with eight aces and collected points on 93% of her first serves put in play. Kvitova had a pair of break point opportunities in the match but failed each time.

Williams has achieved a career Grand Slam with four titles at the Australian Open (2003, 2005, 2007, 2009), three titles at the U.S. Open (1999, 2002, 2008), three at Wimbledon (2002, 2003, 2009) and a French Open title (2002).
