Pure Air Control Services Provides IAQ/Mold 101 Teaching at Central Florida College

Francisco Aguirre, CIAQP, CIEC, a principal of Pure Air Control Services who serves as the Director of the Building Sciences Division, has joined the board of Central Florida College (CFC) s a IAQ technical advisor for issues related to the indoor environment. As part of his commitment, Francisco has designed a series of 2-hour courses on indoor environmental sciences for CFC.

Clearwater, FL --Due to increased general public awareness of pollutants in the air at home and work, the indoor environmental industry is becoming an emerging career path and business opportunity.   Doctors (and lawyers) are showing the relationship between the air we breathe and our health.  Academia is responding to the increasing need for indoor environmental professionals by providing relevant courses.  Francisco Aguirre, CIAQP, CIEC, a principal of Pure Air Control Services who serves as the Director of the Building Sciences Division, has joined the board of Central Florida College (CFC) s a IAQ technical advisor for issues related to the indoor environment.  As part of his commitment, Francisco has designed a series of 2-hour courses on indoor environmental sciences for CFC. 

 

Mr. Aguirre stated “In these presentations, I will share scientific, as well as practical approaches to understanding and investigating for the various indoor pollutants.”

 

The Building Diagnostics Sciences Division (BDS) of Pure Air Control Services has addressed various indoor environmental concerns in thousands of building including government, healthcare, schools, commercial facilities, hotel and lodging, etc.  Their workload includes LEED Air Testing, Air Quality (Phase I and Phase II) Evaluations, IAQ Due Diligence Studies, Infrared Thermography, Building Pressurization Analysis, and Insurance Claims.  The evaluations help identify the pollutants, their levels, source, and causation.  In addition, the Building Sciences group at Pure Air Control Services performs Legal Expert Witness duties as well as quality assurance/quality control management for remediation projects.
