Online Discount Cigar Company Gives Back to the Community

Online Discount Cigar Company Gotham Cigars president set to play in The 6^th Annual Wicho’s On the Green Tournament to be held at Melreese Golf Course for the individuals and families touched by Autism Spectrum Disorders in the community.

Manny Balani Gotham Cigars’ President will be playing in The 6^th Annual Wicho’s On the Green Tournament hosted by Linq Financial to give back to the community by raising money for these special needs children.  Gotham Cigars will be participating as a sponsor to try and help surpass last years fundraising of over $50,000. 

“Gotham Cigars is regularly involved in charitable events; we have been personally touched by the Autism Society Miami-Dade Chapter and their wonderful work in the community.”, said Gotham Cigars President Manny Balani.  Mr. Balani continued to say  “We are fully committed in assisting Linq Financial in their fundraising efforts.”

Last years beneficiaries included: Carpe Diem Academy, The Autism Society Miami-Dade Chapter, and UM-NSU Card.  The beneficiaries were able to help over fifty families attend a Florida Marlins game as well as send some special needs children to Autism Surf Camp.  Other portions of the donations where used to support the camp by providing lunch, drinks, and snacks to the children all week long.

The event was canceled on its original date of Friday December 18^th 2009 due to rain but has been rescheduled to take place on Friday January 22^nd 2010.
