Paris Hilton Rehires Publicist
Apparently Paris Hilton couldn’t go more than three days without the man she has devoted nearly half her text messaging life to. After parting ways with her 62-year-old publicist Elliot Mintz following her jail sentence the 26-year-old celebutante rehired Mintz on Tuesday.
Hilton, who has admitted that she speaks with Mintz more than anyone else throughout a day, had dropped him after she received a 45 day jail sentence for violating her probation. During her court appearance “The Simple Life” star told Superior Court Judge Michael Sauer that she was led to believe by Mintz that she was allowed to drive despite having he license suspended.
For his part, Mintz accepted responsibility for the misinformation yet Sauer wasn’t buying it when he made his ruling. Hilton had been arrested in September for reckless driving and driving while intoxicated, she was most recently ticketed in February when police spotted her speeding down Sunset Boulevard with her lights off.
Paris has been ordered to report to prison on June 5 in Lynwood, California where she will serve her sentence in a women’s facility.
Lawyers for Hilton have filed a notice that they plan to appeal the judge’s decision.
