Who’s the visionary behind NY’s hottest lounges, clubs and restaurants!

“From the Tenjune to a wide network of luxury hospitality establishments across New York, Mark Birnbaum is continuing to take his hospitality company to newer heights”

Hospitality mogul and successful entrepreneur, Mark Birnbaum is considered the king of New York’s nightlife. In 2006 Mark and his two friends founded the EMM Group, a hospitality management company.

The Tenjune, a chick nightclub in Manhattan is one of the most famous ones. The club is a swanky establishment, located in the Meatpacking District, which spreads over a 5000 square foot of land. After its setup, the club soon garnered much popularity, which got its founder Mark, and his partners, $12 million revenue.

Mark along with his partners raised five million dollars within eight months of its setup, mostly from their loyal customers, who loved the Tenjune. They used that money to invest in Abe & Arthur that serves $88 porterhouse steaks and the SL, which is its basement club.

The Tenjune was so popular, that it went on to do well, even while other businesses were facing hard times during the economic disaster of 2007. Its success was interpreted by many as a hit wonder, as told by Remm, Mark Birnbaum’s partner.

The EMM Group’s portfolio now enlists posh lounges and high profile restaurants across NY. The group also owns a house in Sag Harbor, which hosts private parties for the cast of Gossip Girl and VH1.

His Group is headquartered near the Tenjune. The group keeps on enjoying lots of success with every passing year, and the credit for all this success goes to Mr. Mark Birnbaum, a man who has an eye for perfection and a need for absolute excellence, for every single detail.

Presently, the EMM Group has over a thousand employees, who continue to infuse innovation and creativity into this company.
