Detroit Business Online Marketer Offers Automotive Alternative To Cobalt

Auto Dealerships Get Preview of Effective Online Marketing

The recent news of the automotive market in Metro Detroit has a lot of dealerships concerned. This has many people scrambling for answers. Car lots are looking to train their existing staff into knowledgeable SEO, (search engine optimization) experts over night. But the prognosis for this tactic seems lofty at best. The ability to place a car dealership on the top spot of Google is a specialized art.

The expense of Cobalt SEO has auto dealerships wondering if its worth the price. Master marketer, Ted Cantu, explains, “There are some interesting dynamics happening on the web lately. First of all, it doesn’t take $10 grand a month to run a campaign. There is a lot of highway robbery happening at the expense of the car dealerships. We can propel any auto site to the top of Google through organic rankings that are not dependant on pay per click models, (PPC)” explains Cantu. “More auto dealerships need to see how we can work together before its too late”.

Dealerships have been folding up in Metro Detroit including locations in Troy and Farmington Hills, Michigan. “The traditional forms of marketing are not doing the job” explains Cantu. “The power of promoting a dealership online is just in its infancy. Search engines are being perfected and we are living in a wonderful time. I say this whole heartedly in a time when we have lost the Eccentric newspaper and the Ann Arbor News. Auto dealerships need to be educated on the possibilities. Web 2.0 is not just about Twitter and Facebook. There is a whole other level that these companies are missing . These auto dealerships are literally throwing a fortune out the window every month” says Ted Cantu.

Cantu will be demonstrating some of these techniques live and in person at Wayne County Community College on Feb. 4, 2010. The doors open at 5:30 pm and there will be time to connect and meet with him at this time. The location is at Wayne County Community College, Eastern Campus, located at 801 W. Fort Street, Detroit, MI 48226.
