2010 Australian Open Round 4 Results: Novak Djokovic Moves into Quarterfinals with Straight Set Win Over Lukasz Kubot

Novak Djokovic continued to breeze through the early rounds of the 2010 Australian Open, taking care of Lukasz Kubot in straight sets 6-1, 6-2, 7-5 to move into the quarterfinals of the first Grand Slam of the year.

Djokovic finished with 11 aces and won points on 80% of his first serves put in play while limiting himself to just 17 unforced errors. Perhaps the most impressive part of Djokovic’s game was his ability to pick up points on 70% of his second serves put in play.

Djokovic has won one Grand Slam singles title, the 2008 Australian Open and he reached the finals at the 2007 U.S. Open but fell to Roger Federer.
