Paris Hilton Could Have Sentence Shortened Due to Overcrowding
While the difference between 21 days and 45 days may only be two weeks it could feel like a lifetime for Paris Hilton. The 26-year-old celebutante who is currently facing 45 days in jail for violating he probation may have the sentence knocked down to three weeks due to overcrowding.
Hilton could have her sentence reduced even more if she behaves herself while a guest of the state.
Considered a low-level security risk should help “The Simple Life” star when her sentence is determined. The actual amount of time Hilton serves won’t be determined until she is actually booked into the county system.
Hilton is scheduled to report to jail on or before June 5.
Fans of Paris have already sent a petition to Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger asking him to pardon the heiress.
