While Angelina Jolie says that she’ll go to great lengths to be alone with Brad Pitt she’s not exactly warming up to the idea of marrying the 43-year-old actor/humanitarian.
In a recent interview with Reader’s Digest Jolie, 31, admitted finding time alone with Pitt is difficult when you have four children but there are ways for it to be done “we'll get them occupied with a movie and popcorn and try to run off and lock the door for a bit.”
Jolie, whose latest movie “A Mighty Heart” hits theaters in September, said much of her time with Pitt is spent around their three adopted children and one biological child. While creating a family was what she wanted she did say “right now, finding quality time is our problem” when the subject of her relationship with Brad was discussed.
Both Jolie and Pitt have refuted any rumors that their relationship is on the rocks but both have ignored the idea of marriage as a means of appeasing the public. Addressing the marriage subject Jolie stated, “We've both been married before. Our focus when we got together was family, and we are legally bound to our children. That really seems to be the most important thing.”
Jolie has been married twice, her first marriage to Jonny Lee Miller ended after nearly three years in 1999. She then married Billy Bob Thornton and that ended in divorce in 2003. While married to Thornton she adopted Maddox, a Cambodian orphan and after her divorce she received full custody.
Pitt married Jennifer Aniston in July 2000 and five years later they were divorced.
After Jolie and Pitt began their relationship they adopted Zahara from Ethiopia in 2005. In 2006 the couple had their first biological child together, Shiloh. Earlier this year Jolie adopted Pax Thien from a Vietnamese orphanage.
When asked about more children Jolie commented “Yeah, yeah. More biological, more adopted.”
