Namco Networks Announces Over 23 Million Downloads from App Store

Namco Networks has announced that its App Store releases have been downloaded over 23 million times.  Since the App Store’s inception in June of 2008, the company has had 36,450 downloads per day.  Download numbers continue to grow rapidly.  Namco Networks general manager of Apple Games Jonathan Kromrey states that the company is excited about its worldwide audience as the App Store continues to grow with over 100,000 applications available and 3 billion downloaded.

Namco applications for the iPhone/iPod touch include PAC-MAN Championship Edition, and ACE COMBAT Xi Skies of Incursion.  It’s more popular apps include PAC-MAN, Ace Combat, Gal   aga, and Dig Dug.  Other Namco apps include Garters & Ghouls, Isaac Newton’s Gravity and Solitaire, Deck of Cods.  The company will launch Pool Pro Online 3 amongst twenty other titled during 2010.
