Could Promiscuity Ever be a Thing of the Past?

A 21st century moral code based on common sense is included as part of the Narconon program giving some drug addicts a first time view of true morality.

The Narconon program in Michigan delivers the full Narconon program and creates truly drug free lives. Attend any of their weekly graduations and you can hear some of the most amazing success stories. Not only do graduates overcome drug addiction through the Narconon program they are set on the way to happiness for life.

The Way to Happiness is a booklet that has been translated into over 90 languages and more than 70 million copies have been distributed. It has been officially recognized by Presidents, Senators, Governors, Congressman, schools and government agencies.  Citizens of more than 130 nations have used the booklet to better their lives.

These numbers are outstanding in terms of international reach for this booklet written in 1981 by American author and humanitarian L. Ron Hubbard.  So what does this book say about sex and marriage in a society where divorce rates are at all time highs and promiscuity is the norm?

The third precept of The Way to Happiness taught in Narconon is "Don't be Promiscuous".  The abuse of sex in societies since the dawn of time has shattered families and caused personal ruin, not to mention disease and unhappiness.   However, the explanation given in this book makes it all too clear the picture of unfaithfulness and its results. The booklet engages the simple truth cutting through all the private justifications for not keeping this point in.

There is additionally a film that has been newly released detailing each of the ground rules in The Way to Happiness leaving no question in the student's mind the value of the 21 precepts detailed.

Never before have we had the means to teach morals in such a way as to not be preaching, but to truly address the intelligence and common sense of the person who picks up a copy or watches the DVD of The Way to Happiness and thereby elicit their own willingness to be good and behave morally.

The successes stated in the graduations at Narconon Freedom Center speak for themselves. Former drug addicts, to whom morals were almost entirely lost, have now started themselves on a new road of decent behavior based on their own willingness, rather than the force of law.

Promiscuity isn't a survival state in a modern world. Those who follow that route end up in misery and ruin. There is a new road that can be traveled and that road is detailed to students of the Narconon program.
