Casino Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, New Jersey took a novel step by organizing a poker tournament

Casino Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, New Jersey took a novel step by organizing a poker tournament to support its employee Ray Kot’s family who was killed on a shooting in the hotel. The sad incident took place on May 27, 2009, Wednesday, around 4 p.m.

Raymond “Ray” Kot, the fifty-five year old, kind hearted and sincere employee of the casino lost his life during a shootout in the hotel’s control room. As a shift manager Roy was employed in the hotel since its beginning in 1990. He was survived by his wife and a son named Drew who would fail to fail to sustain his studies with the support of his father. This is where poker players and the authorities of Trump Taj Mahal chipped in to provide the necessary support that the family may need.

Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort is now going to organize a great poker tournament for honoring Ray Kot. The first tournament is going to be held during this Sunday and will last for a week. Any poker player who has managed to win 10 satellite tournaments during midday and midnight of seven days will be able to participate in the tournament.

The sooner the satellite matches are over the more will become the number of participants. The players will start with a humble $25 and this amount will go to the fund for sponsoring Drew’s education. Taj has announced some great prizes to lure the players and they expect a huge collection as everyone would be interested in participation that is being organized for a great cause.

The champion winner can enjoy a cruise for the Super Bowl. You can win a huge flat television if you manage to grab the second place. The third place winner will have an entry in the Taj Super Bowl. We request poker enthusiasts to come out for supporting the novel cause.
