Tim Tebow Anti Abortion Super Bowl Ad Sparks Controversy

A pro life Super Bowl ad featuring Florida Gators quarterback Tim Tebow has sparked controversy. Tebow is set to appear in an anti abortion ad for the Christian group Focus on the Family. He reportedly tells the story of his mother Pam Tebow, who fell ill during her pregnancy with him but refused to have an abortion despite recommendations by doctors.

Pro abortion groups are demanding CBS not run the commercial, but the network has refused. CBS says they would consider running other “responsibly produced” advocacy ads.

Tebow, 22, has not commented.
