NBA Scores: Bulls Stop Pistons to Avoid Sweep in Game Four

Luol Deng scored 25 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, Ben Wallace added 11 points and 17 boards and Ben Gordon and Kirk Hinrich each scored 19 points as the Chicago Bulls knocked off the Detroit Pistons 102-87 to avoid a second round sweep and turn their Eastern Conference playoff series into a 3-1 contest.

The Bulls carried a 21 point lead into the fourth quarter but the Pistons opened the final period with a 13-3 run to cut their deficit to ten with 7:37 left in the game. Chauncey Billups brought the Pistons to within seven when he hit a three-pointer with 2:46 but Chicago scored the next six points to boost their lead to 13 and seal the win.

Chicago out-rebounded Detroit 51-33 and shot 49 percent for the game while the Pistons managed to hit just 37 percent from the floor.

The series now shifts back to Detroit where the two teams will meet again on Tuesday in game five of their best of seven series.
