Concordis Group, Inc. (PK: CNGI), a financial holding company, has appointed  Edward Valaitis as its chief operating officer, and has also been elected to the company's board of directors. Valaitis, in his new position will have many different responsibilities of the daily management of the company, which includes but is not limited to the handling of the operating companies, business development, human resources, acquisition support, strategic planning and marketing. He will work with CEO Trent Sommerville and the board of directors.


Valaitis' corporate history and experience includes terms as Managing Director for Resource Global and partner at Amper, Politziner and Mattia, a CPA firm with practice responsibility over the risk consulting, Sarbanes Oxley, SAS, 70 and Information Security Services. He was also a Co-Founder of BDO Seidman's Risk Consulting Division and Managing Director of the Financial Services Practice of Root Learning Inc., a consulting firm. He also held commercial banking positions with Deutsche Bank for a decade.
