Serena Williams was down one set and trailing four games to none in the second set but rallied for a stunning three set victory over Victoria Azarenka 4-6, 7-6 (7-4), 6-2 to reach the semifinals at the Australian Open.
Serena looked all but done when she trailed by four games in the second set but she rattled of five straight games and eventually took the tie-breaker. After that it was all over for Azarenka as Serena dominated the third set. Serena finished with 17 aces in the match and totaled a staggering 57 winners to upend Azarenka.
Williams has achieved a career Grand Slam with four titles at the Australian Open (2003, 2005, 2007, 2009), three titles at the U.S. Open (1999, 2002, 2008), three at Wimbledon (2002, 2003, 2009) and a French Open title (2002).
