Toyota Drivers Questioning Safety of Their Cars

Financial World News Update by EQUITIES Magazine

After Toyota’s decision this week to stop sales of eight models, many drivers whose cars weren’t recalled are asking the same question: is it safe to drive my car.

As of now, Toyota is affirming their earlier stance, insisting that it’s fine to keep driving your Toyota as long as the warning signs of a sticking accelerator are absent.

“As part of the recall, we are obliged to suspend sales until there is a remedy…but the advice for customers remains the same,” said Toyota spokesman Mike Michels.

For drivers that own a Toyota under recall, pay attention to the accelerator pedal—if is action seems rough or is sluggish in returning to the idle position, do not operate the vehicle anymore.
