Business News Update by EQUITIES Magazine

Starbucks Coffee Co. is recalling 11,000 glass water bottles because the bottle or its stopped can shatter when it’s removed or inserted. The bottles pose a laceration hazard to customers.

Made in Taiwan and imported by Starbucks, the company received ten reports of glass stoppers or water bottles shattering, including eight reports of hand lacerations.

The clear glass water bottles have the SKU number 11003503. They were sold Starbucks-operated stores and at Starbucks locations in Safeway and Target stores nationwide. Another 1,200 are recalled in Canada. Details can be retrieved by phone at 877-492-6333.
