Thomas & Betts Corporation Acquires Net Assets of JT Packard & Associates

Thomas & Betts Corporation (NYSE: TNB) has acquired the net assets of JT Packard & Associates, Inc. TNB acquired JT Packard for a net purchase price of $22 million.

 

In 2009, JT Packard's core business is preventative maintenance and emergency service for uninterruptable power supplies, DC plant and static transfer switches used to ensure a consistent and high-quality flow of power to data centers in various industrial and commercial markets. JT Packard had 2009 sales of approximately $60 million.
