Despite putting together his best night of the competition on Monday, Ian Ziering was dropped from ‘Dancing with the Stars’ in the semifinal round.
Gracious in defeat, Ziering complimented his partner Cheryl Burke saying “Cheryl, it means so much to be in this competition with you and to have gotten this far, I've accomplished my goal. I've learned how to dance. I feel like a big winner just doing that.”
On Monday’s show Ziering earned his first 10 of the competition for his tango but Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli each gave the 90210 alum 9s for a total of 28. Ziering and Burke then came back and scored a perfect 30 in the second round for their jive.
Unfortunately for Ian the night was full of perfect scores and his totalof 58 still trailed Apolo Anton Ohno’s 59 and Laila Ali and Joey Fatone who both scored a pefect 60 on the night.
The competition is now down to three with Ohno, Ali and Fatone battling for the ‘Dancing with the Stars’ crown.
