Thermography as an Invaluable and Economical Facilities Tool

Tampa, FL

Tampa, FL  -- In the beginning, one of the primary uses for Thermography was to fight fires.  It was difficult to see the actual fire source in a smoke filled room and the infrared camera provided invaluable information to help put the fire out or find a fallen victim.  The early cameras were expensive, bulky and limited.  Even the early screens were black and white graphics and it looked like viewing negatives from film strips.

Today’s thermography cameras are economical, small, great graphics (they look like a pictures from the Hubble Telescope) and have a multitude of purposes.  Here are just a few:  Building Energy/Envelop Studies, Moisture Surveys, Electrical Panel Surveys, Electrical Motor Surveys, Assist with BAS System Calibration and Commissioning, and the list keeps growing….
