Wold-Olsen has over 30 years experience with global research based pharmaceutical company Merck & Co., Inc. Before then, he served as the President of Human Health Europe, Middle East/Africa, and Worldwide Human Health Marketing for Merck. Wold-Olsen now sits on the Boards of Directors of three Danish based companies. He serves Lundbeck A/S, GN Store Nord A/S, and Exiqon A/S. He is also a member of the board of the Medicines for Malaria Venture.
