2010 Australian Open Finals Results: Serena Williams Stops Justine Henin in Three Sets for 12th Career Grand Slam Singles Title

Serena Williams managed to add a second Australian Open title to her 2010 experience as she knocked off Justine Henin in three sets 6-4, 3-6, 6-2 to capture the singles crown, one day after partnering with sister Venus Williams to take the doubles title.

Serena relied on what got her this far, a dominant serve and her 12 aces were a key factor in getting past a determined Henin. Serena used a lot of those aces when she was facing break points, disheartening her Belgian opponent who had a number of opportunities but failed to capitalize when it mattered most.

Williams has achieved a career Grand Slam with four five at the Australian Open (2003, 2005, 2007, 2009), three titles at the U.S. Open (1999, 2002, 2008), three at Wimbledon (2002, 2003, 2009) and a French Open title (2002).
