When asked about the possibility of signing free-agent wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson Tennessee Titans head coach Jeff Fisher said “There's mutual interest I'd say right now, I think we'll probably look into the possibility of pursuing things. Where that goes, I can't tell you.”
Tennessee is looking to add a veteran receiver for their young quarterback Vince Young and Johnson certainly has the qualifications to become Young’s primary target.
Keyshawn had 70 receptions for 815 yards and four touchdowns last season for the Carolina Panthers. Carolina let Johnson, 35, go shortly after the NFL Draft once they selected USC wide receiver Dwayne Jarrett.
Drew Bennett led the Titans with 46 receptions for 737 yards last season. Tennessee finished second to last in the AFC for passing touchdowns with just 13.
