When you’re in your 18th season you really have to think outside the box to keep a show fresh. Fortunately for fans of “The Simpsons” thinking outside the box has never been a problem for creator Matt Groening and his host of writers.
With the historic 400th episode on the way Groening has enlisted the help of Grammy Award-winner Ludacris. The rapper/actor will be making an appearance as “Luda-Crest” the rapping tube of toothpaste.
While the 29-year-old rapper, whose real name is Chris Bridges, has taken on several roles in film, this will be his first stint in animation. He appeared in both “Hustle and Flow” and “Crash”, two films that picked up Oscar Awards.
The episode featuring Ludacris is set to air May 20.
