Peoples Flower Shop Hires Brian Wenmoth as Creative Director and Event Coordinator

ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO. (July 18, 2014). Peoples Flower Shops, an Albuquerque, New Mexico based, family-owned and operated florist, announced that it has added Brian Wenmoth as Creative Director and Event Coordinator.

In commenting on the new addition to the team, Wayne Pollack of Peoples Flower Shops said, “We have been expanding our executive team as a way to help guide our strategy and further achieve some ambitious goals that we have set. At the same time, adding someone with the experience and expertise that Brian has will also provide some exciting new ideas and perspectives on what we can offer customers in terms of creativity in floral design for events, décor, and gifts.”

Before joining Peoples Flower Shops, Brian worked in the event planning industry in Palm Springs, California. He is an award-winning designer who has been active in the floral industry for over 20 years.  He was inducted into the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD) in 2001.  During his career, Brian has owned his own shop, worked as a freelance floral designer, and represented and designed for industry-leading companies in print and live appearances. He has presented at numerous design shows throughout the Great Lakes Region as well as taught at the Ohio Short Course.  Brian’s work has been featured in several industry and non-industry publications as well as seen at various Home & Garden Expos, including those in Chicago, Illinois and Dayton, Ohio. He has also volunteered his time and creativity to AIFD for several years, most recently serving as Stage Manager for the organization’s National Symposium.  

In commenting on his new position, Brian stated, “I am always striving to learn and develop my talent and then share that knowledge with co-workers and clients. The team at Peoples share the same philosophy so I am excited to see what we can create together.”
