‘American Idol’ Gets a Facelift? No Paula Abdul Just Broke Her Nose
‘American Idol’ judge Paula Abdul won’t be putting on her best face for the singing competition’s final two nights featuring Jordin Sparks and Blake Lewis thanks in large part to her Chihuahua.
It seems Abdul was trying to avoid stepping on Tulip, her four legged friend, when she lost her balance and fell, tearing cartilage in her nose and fracturing a toe.
The Grammy Award-winning singer and Emmy Award-winning choreographer wasn’t able to use her dance skills to avoid the mishap. Abdul told Extra “I took a nasty fall ... trying not to hurt my dog. I bruised myself on my arm ... my chest, my waist all the way down to my hip. All from my little chubby Tulip.”
‘American Idol’ airs tonight and will be followed with the results show on Wednesday when either Sparks or Lewis will be crowned.
